Mixing
Remote · Stems Upload · All Genres

Send your stems and receive a polished, balanced mix that translates across every speaker — earbuds, car, club. Every frequency placed with intention. Every mix is given the time it deserves: multiple listen-throughs, ear rest between passes, system-check on monitors, headphones and earbuds. Rush turnarounds are available when stems are clean and the brief is clear — but the standard is to mix to perfection, not to the clock.

Remote Stems Upload 3 Revisions WAV + MP3 Delivery Light Tuning Included All Genres
From £300 Indie · per track
1
Export all stems as individual WAV files

Each instrument, vocal, layer and FX return on its own track. No buses or groups unless you're sending them as extras.

2
Use 24-bit / 44.1kHz or 48kHz

No MP3s. 24-bit WAV only. Either sample rate is fine — just keep it consistent across all stems.

3
Consolidate every stem from bar 1

All files must start from the exact same point (bar 1 / 00:00:00). This keeps everything lined up perfectly on import.

4
Label your files clearly

Use descriptive names: Lead_Vox.wav, Kick.wav, Bass_Guitar.wav. Avoid: Track1.wav, Audio04.wav.

5
Remove all master bus processing

Bypass any limiting, compression or EQ on your master bus before exporting. Leave headroom — peaks should sit between -6dB and -3dB.

6
Include a reference track

Send a song or mix that represents the sound and energy you're going for. This is one of the most useful things you can send.

Accepted upload methods: WeTransfer · Google Drive · Dropbox · OneDrive
Upload link provided in your confirmation email after booking.

Mastering
Streaming Ready · LUFS Optimised · Singles, EPs & Albums

The final step before release. Your track optimised for Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal and broadcast loudness standards. Upload your stereo mix — receive a master that hits with clarity and depth.

Remote Streaming Optimised LUFS Compliant WAV + MP3 Delivery 2 Revisions
From £75 Indie · single track
1
Export your stereo mix as a 24-bit WAV

Send the final stereo mix at 24-bit / 44.1kHz or 48kHz. No MP3s. This is the file that will be mastered.

2
Leave headroom — no limiting on the master bus

Remove any limiters, maximisers or heavy compression from your master bus before exporting. Your peaks should land between -3dB and -6dB true peak. If your mix is louder than -1dBTP, it needs adjusting first.

3
Check for clipping before you send

Play your mix back and listen for distortion. Check your meters. Any clipping needs to be fixed in your mix before mastering begins.

4
Send a reference track

A commercial track that represents the loudness, tone and energy you're aiming for. Helps ensure the master lands exactly where you want it.

5
Include your release platform and format

Mention where you're releasing (Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, etc.) so the master is calibrated to the right LUFS target for that platform.

Accepted upload methods: WeTransfer · Google Drive · Dropbox · OneDrive
Upload link provided in your confirmation email after booking.

From £50/hr Glasgow studio · 2-hour min
1
Know your material before you arrive

Have your lyrics written, memorised or on your phone. The more prepared you are, the more you can do in the session time.

2
Send your instrumental in advance

Share your beat or backing track before the session so it can be loaded and ready. WAV preferred — MP3 accepted. Include BPM and key if you know them.

3
Warm up before you arrive

Drink water, warm up your voice. Avoid dairy and very cold drinks in the hours before a vocal session. You'll perform better and we'll get more done.

4
Send references for your sound

Share 2–3 tracks that represent how you want to sound or the energy you're going for. This helps dial in the recording setup and mic choice quickly.

5
Confirm location and time at least 48 hours before

Final session details — location, access, timing — should be confirmed 48 hours ahead. Any changes within 24 hours may affect your deposit.

After the session: Recorded files are delivered within 24–48 hours via secure file transfer. Format and delivery method confirmed at booking.

1
Upload your track to a shareable link

SoundCloud (private), Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer or any streaming link. Send the link at least 2 hours before the session so it can be listened to beforehand.

2
Give context — don't be vague

What genre is it? What stage is it at (rough demo, finished mix, pre-release)? Who's the artist? The more context you give, the more targeted the feedback will be.

3
Have specific questions ready

What do you want answered? Is the mix too muddy? Does the hook land? Is the arrangement too long? Come with questions — the session goes deeper that way.

4
Have reference tracks ready

If you want to compare your track against a specific commercial sound, have those references ready to pull up during the call.

5
Use a good set of headphones or speakers

Don't review your mix through laptop speakers on the call — you'll miss the detail in the feedback. Use headphones or monitors if possible.

Written notes covering the key feedback points are sent by email within 24 hours of the session.

1
Send reference tracks

2–5 tracks that represent the vibe, energy and sound you're going for. These don't need to be in the same genre — just whatever conveys the feeling.

2
Describe your vision in plain language

Don't overthink it. "Dark, late-night, something that feels like driving alone at 3am" tells more than a list of technical specs.

3
Share any existing ideas

Voice memos, rough melodies, chord ideas, samples you've been sitting on — send anything that's part of your creative starting point. Nothing gets used without discussion.

4
Clarify your timeline

When do you need this? Is there a release date, a session booked, a deadline? The more lead time, the more scope for the creative process.

5
Specify your licensing needs

Do you need full exclusivity? Non-exclusive lease? Are you signing to a label that has specific requirements? These details shape the agreement from the start.

All custom production enquiries are handled via email first. Once scope, budget and timeline are agreed, a deposit secures the project start date.
